Not had the busiest week, so used some of the time to have a play in Cinema 4D and do something for Nick Campbell aka Greyscalegorilla‘s latest Five Second Project to the theme of Coffee and Triangles. Giving me a chance to have a play with the Mograph module in C4D as well as brushing up on my modeling, texturing and rendering know-how.

These projects are a great idea by Nick. I’m always struggling for a reason to try new stuff, so the abstract and open nature of the themes and 5 second restriction are ideal for just ‘getting things done!’. He’s also got some great vidcasts on his blog, some tutorials and some of him just yakkin’ some wise words.
